We're back with another event! Thanks to Mentally Friendly to hosting us. We'll be talking about Prototyping & Collaboration within Design, a super interesting topic with 3 super experienced speakers
Agenda
Details
Ed Corcoran - Senior Product Designer
"Build evidence with prototypes"
Ed is a Senior Designer at Mentally Friendly, with 8 years experience designing products and services with startups and large organisations across Finance, Education, and Government.
He solves problems by combining a human-centred approach with a strong action bias, taking ideas from concept to reality through rapid prototyping and validation with users.
Ed is in his element when making sense of complex systems and relationships and creating experiences that leverage that understanding to deliver considered and purposeful products and services.
Second Speaker Saakshi Muralidhar - Senior Organisational Designer "Prototyping change in your organisation"
Saakshi is a Senior Organisational Designer at Mentally Friendly, where she helps translate positive intent into realised potential for the organisations she works with. Her superpower is creating the environment, conditions and momentum for leaders and teams to co-create change together.
Saakshi has a diverse skillset, drawing on experience as a Product Manager at Workday, leading a global product team in tackling some of the HR platform’s biggest challenges. She’s passionate about advocating for the wellbeing of the teams on the ground and is a master designer of new tools for solving complex problems. Her recent engagements include leading org design and innovation initiatives for SBS, Atlassian and ACT Government.
Third speaker Michael Forbes - Product Designer "A designer's greatest asset is their team"
Michael is a digital product designer at Mentally Friendly. After starting his career with a focus on visual design he has transitioned and extended his skillset to become more human-centred and strategic by practice.
His current interests lie in developing inclusive design processes, building design systems, practicing UX writing & helping to align product teams.
We have a very limited amount of seats so please RSVP only if you can come. Food and drinks will be provided (no pizzas I promise). See you there!
